The Gluten-Free Guides were founded by Anna Cooper who is a recent Biology graduate from the University of Southampton.

She was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in the summer of 2018, just before she was due to start University. She started a gluten-free Instagram account in November 2019, with the aim to share her story and to help other people in her position who also suffer from Coeliac Disease or other gluten intolerances and build a community around this idea.

Her page includes a variety of gluten-free recipes, meals and products which are all gluten free and features restaurants in the surrounding areas of Hampshire and Wiltshire.

In 2020 she started to develop her own recipes and in February 2021 was able to publish her first gluten-free guide.

​

With the support of her University's Student Enterprise Team, she founded The Gluten-Free Guides at the start of 2021, and with the help of SEED funding has been able to start-up this small, successful business.
