Gluten Free Doughnuts
Ever since becoming gluten-free I have been on the hunt of finding some doughnut alternative that lives up to the normal kind! I found an original recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut recipe by @glutenfreealice which I have adapted!
Ingredients
- 150g Gluten Free Self-Raising Flour 
- 1/2tsp GF Baking Powder 
- 110g Caster Sugar 
- 120ml Almond Milk (or Alternative) 
- 2 Medium Eggs 
- 1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil 
- 1tsp Vanilla Extract 
- For the toppings, sprinkles or sugar. 
- Spray the doughnut tray with non-stick spray. 
- Add flour, sugar and baking powder to a bowl and mix. 
- Separately whisk the milk, eggs, oil and vanilla extract. 
- Add these two together and mix. 
- Add the batter to the tray to about half-way. 
- Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 12 minutes. 
- Leave the doughnuts to cool on a wire rack and bake the last batch of mixture. 
- Once both batches are cool, cover with icing/butter and add the toppings of your choice!
