Gluten Free Doughnuts
Ever since becoming gluten-free I have been on the hunt of finding some doughnut alternative that lives up to the normal kind! I found an original recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut recipe by @glutenfreealice which I have adapted!
Ingredients
150g Gluten Free Self-Raising Flour
1/2tsp GF Baking Powder
110g Caster Sugar
120ml Almond Milk (or Alternative)
2 Medium Eggs
1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1tsp Vanilla Extract
For the toppings, sprinkles or sugar.
Spray the doughnut tray with non-stick spray.
Add flour, sugar and baking powder to a bowl and mix.
Separately whisk the milk, eggs, oil and vanilla extract.
Add these two together and mix.
Add the batter to the tray to about half-way.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 12 minutes.
Leave the doughnuts to cool on a wire rack and bake the last batch of mixture.
Once both batches are cool, cover with icing/butter and add the toppings of your choice!
