Gluten Free Waffles

Ingredients

  1. 170g Plain Flour

  2. 2tsp Baking Powder and Xantham Gum

  3. 1/2tsp Sugar

  4. 2 Eggs Separated

  5. 230ml Milk or Dairy-Free Alternative

  6. 85g Melted Butter

Method

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, xantham gum and salt into a bowl, then stir in sugar.

  2. Put the egg yolks, milk and melted butter into a separate bowl and beat well. Then combine with dry ingredients.

  3. Whisk egg whites in a bowl until stiff and fold into the other ingredients.

  4. Put three tablespoons of mix into a pre-heated waffle maker- close and cook until golden brown.
